Most comparison sites work the same way: you fill in a form, your details are sold to four or five companies, and your phone rings for a fortnight. It is lucrative for the site and miserable for you.
Vanely does not do that. Your project goes to one installer at a time.
What actually happens
When your estimate is ready we choose a single installer who covers your area, has been verified by us, and — if your project might qualify for a grant — holds the certification that grant requires. They are shown the shape of the job: the rough size, the postcode district, the timeline. Not your name, not your address and not your email.
They then have 24 hours to take it or leave it. If they take it, they pay for the introduction and only then see how to contact you. If they pass, or the day runs out, it goes to the next installer instead — and the first one loses access to it entirely.
Why this is better for you
- One phone call, not five. From somebody who has already committed.
- They are paying to talk to you, which is a filter in itself. Nobody buys a lead they have no intention of quoting.
- Your address is never on a list. It is disclosed once, to one company that has taken the job on.
What if you do not get on?
Tell us and we will route it to somebody else. You are not tied to the first installer, and nothing is agreed until you accept a quote.
What installers see about each other
Nothing. Installers are never shown what another company quoted, how many others have looked, or any kind of guide price. Comparing quotes is something you do, on your side, with the full picture — and it only works if the numbers are arrived at independently.
